The purpose of SMARTY PANTS UNIVERSITY is to provide an environment that is safe for learning. Children who attend Smarty Pants University will be presented with activities that will challenge them cognitively as well as tap into their creativity. Lessons and concepts will be taught in a fun and inviting manner. Students will be unaware of the actually learn most of the time because they will be very engaged.
DAILY GOALS
1. ENCOURAGE ALL STUDENTS TO EXPAND THEIR KNOWLEDGE IN READING, MATH, WRITING, SCIENCE, AND BIBLE TOPICS
2. PROVIDE EACH CHILD WITH THE REQUIRED TEKS NEEDED TO ENTER PRE-K OR KINDERGARTEN
3. ALLOW THE STUDENTS TO PLAY AND INTERACT IN A FUN AND SAFE ENVIRONMENT
4. TEACH SKILLS USING TEACHER DIRECTED AND STUDENT DIRECT APPROACHES
5. HELP STUDENTS GAIN INDEPENDENCE AND HIGH SELF ESTEEM ABOUT THEIR ACADEMICS AS WELL AS THEIR SOCIAL ABILITIES
